With only 48% of Democrats in Connecticut voting for the pro-Bush candidate, Harry Reid got the message loud and clear.
How come Lieberman's defeat is a sign of whatever-the-hell-it-is now? He went down in flames in Connecticut (and the rest of the country) in the 2004 Super-Tuesday primary, picked up zero CT delegates and quit.
It was obvious two years ago that Democrarts don't much like him (and I suspect that, without the marketing boost of running for VP, he wouldn't have won in 2000 either).
Leave it to the Repubs to be surprised by the completely predictable.
