Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has written a sequel to his Rolling Stone article about vote-hacking, this time about the 2006 election.
Buzz Bomb
I've just skimmed it, but a few things that I didn't see:
Cathy Cox, the Secretary of State, is a Democrat, and everyone - on both sides of the aisle - thinks she did a fantastic job with the deployment.
Roy Barnes, the Governor at the time, was a Democrat. Those voting machines are managed by county governments, many of which are led by Democrats. And Dekalb and Fulton, which in the story are the only counties to get this "patch," went strongly for the Democrats, as always.
From what I've seen, it is a bullshit story.
I have never seen a single Georgia Democrat assert that there was anything untoward in the 2002 election (where Cleland was smeared, and lost to Chambliss). Roy Barnes outspent Sonny Perdue 7 to 1 and still lost. But that was because of discontent among teachers and "flaggers" (who resented Barnes taking the Confederate flag off the state flag), and the Iraq war gin-up. The Democrats lost the state Senate that year as well as quite a few House seats.
I was at a Democratic Party fundraiser on the Friday before the election. It was clear even then that a wave was coming.
Diebold machines have big flaws, and those flaws can be exacerbated with poor policies and oversight. But this story is a bunch of hooey.

What makes you think, jac, that Dems can do anything about the voting machines made and sold by repigs? And we're not talking about pissant sdtate senate races, we're talking about the stealing of the White House.

It showed tremendous huevos, which the Dems need. Also, I think the interview will speak for itself. He's hardly unhinged: puts Wallace on the defenseive. It's pretty masterful, actually.

So you want me to believe that a Democratic Secretary of State recommended a voting machine, a Democratic state legislature and a Democratic Governor approved it, so that Republicans could steal the White House two years after George Bush moved in?
Please. Try to stay in the real world.
Why doesn't Kennedy report how vote totals in Dekalb and Fulton (where I live) changed? Because they didn't, or because the numbers won't support his "analysis." The changes in voting were in the rural areas and smaller cities, which didn't get the "patch."

Isn't this what everyone wanted to see? The Democrats have balls and a rational human beings. I don't see anything wrong with Clinton going on Fox. As you can see, no Democratic (not even a former President of the United States) is going to be treated fairly by Fox.

Our real external enemies couldn't have imagined a better scenario. A US President is in the Oval Office solely because he turned our guns inward in order to get there.
I'm not questioning Clinton's courage. But we all know Fox will, and did, go out of their way to make him look bad to all the sheep that watch regularly.

Am visitng parents in NC-SC. Letters to the editors in the local fishwrap all full of Clinton hate and smears. All claim that Clinton and Dems were trying to withold the truth from America and trying to deny our 1st Amendment Rights (HA!), but ABC and Disney are true Christian patriots and managed to get the truth out to the public.
Thank G-d the ocean and many cold beers are nearby.

And he's getting a lot of mileage for that.
