It is time for Democrats to use the 'p' word i.e. 'projection' every time some right wing whackaloon starts whiniing about jihads and payback -- clearly THEY act out of rancid pettiness and revenge when THEY have power -- so naturally they assume everyone else would do the same
let's teach the American public the concept 'projection' as in 'well, Katie, I think the Republicans are projecting again . . .' all our talking heads need to be able to bring this up until everyone in America laughs when someone like Rush Limbaugh talks about 'acting' and Newt Gingrich waxes eloquent about pot, or violating marriage vows, or acting partisan or some evangelists starts in on the 'sin' of homosexuality

My only response to this is what about "Bandar" Bush? You know, GW walking around holding hands with a Saudi prince the day after 9/11 as they watched the Pentagon burn. Or maybe the secret flight out of the United States of any and all members of the Bin Laden family.
And yes, Granholm, Conyers and any other politician who has a large Arab body within their voting area is smart to also include these Americans as they do Spanish-speaking or Vietnamese-speaking Americans.
This article is simply about sour grapes and fear fear fear that with true oversight and investigations the country will be stunned over and over again by what is uncovered that the Bush administration has buried for years.

I'm listening to a good broadcast on Air America Radio "Ring of Friends" with Rachel Maddow and David Bender right now. They just had a guest on who was great. He pointed out that Impeachment is mandated by the people, not the politicians. We're just lucky we can now do the investigations that have been shut-down by a rubber-stamp House.
My feeling is once Waxman and the rest begin investigating and digging, the horrible truths will be uncovered and this is what will spark a public outcry for impeachment.
I am worried about what is going to happen between now and January. The GOP (Rove, Bush, Cheney, et.al.) knows whats coming.

The last time I read a copy of IBD, was when someone left a copy in the bathroom at work, during the 2004 elections. I was surprised that *any* print media could be that far right!
Let's deal with this festering sore head-on: can someone compile a list of businesses that buy ad space in IDB, so we can tell them *NOT* to buy ad space in that rag? Maybe after a few quarters of negative revenue might lead to a shake-up in their editorial department.
Rag that it is, IBD has some of the best financial data anywhere, stuff unavailable elsewhere. Get it strictly for the commodites charts, and pretend you don't see the words.

A while back I got put on some odd mailing list and was getting free copies of IBD for way too long. This craziness about Conyers is typical of them, they're far and away the looniest right-wing publication around (yeah, that's saying a lot). On top of their Space Cadet editorials, they have some of the worst investor suggestions you're likely to run across. I frequently tracked stocks that they claimed were going to jump sky high and invariably, they tanked! I got the feeling that they were being paid by companies to push their stock and I could only wonder how many right-wing half-wits emptied their bank accounts into the pockets of IBD's cohorts. Just doing the work of the lord, I guess...
