Isn't this a violation of US Law:
The Posse Comitatus Act ...generally prohibits Federal military personnel and units of the United States National Guard under Federal authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within the United States, except where expressly authorized by the Constitution or Congress.

Mr Bush challenged opponents for ideas, not just criticism
President Bush has hit back at critics of his revised plan for Iraq, which includes sending 21,500 extra troops.
In his radio address, Mr Bush challenged Congress to come up with a better plan than his, in which the Iraqi security forces are meant to take the lead in tackling the conflict.

Silver lining: maybe the Conservatarians will remember they're supposed not like taxes and worry this will get leaked to the IRS. It still seems to me like too many people who think they're Libertarians turn a blind eye to unconstitutional government snooping. This might be straw that breaks their back.
