the repeated use of the word "dying" here is of course a reference to "older whites". this is language that is often used by the left, who believe "older white" voters are not sufficiently enthusiastic about racial extinction. but then they turn around and complain that these same voters worry about such things as death panels.

Save for the very minor differences of skin color and eye shape, we are really only one race. Pretty much all of us descended from a group that left Africa and essentially colonized the world.
Equally amusing is the concept of "racial purity".

colour me not surprised - CAIRO: An audit report of USAID democracy and governance programs in Egypt has criticized the Egyptian government for being an impediment to these efforts as well as citing concerns that programs might inadvertently fund terrorism.
The Office of Inspector General at the US Agency for International Development released the “Audit of USAID/Egypt’s Democracy and Governance Activities” Oct. 27 and stated that only half of the program’s goals were achieved since 2004.
The main reason for the low success rate was the Egyptian government, according to the report.
“The Government of Egypt signed a bilateral agreement to support democracy and governance activities, but it has shown reluctance to support many of USAID’s democracy and governance programs and has impeded implementers’ activities,” said the report.

CAIRO: As Egypt geared for pop diva Beyonce Knowles' first performance in North Africa on Friday, Muslim conservatives were branding her show an "insolent sex party" that threatens the Muslim nation's "social peace and stability."
On giant posters plastered across the Egyptian capital advertising the concert, Beyonce sports a revealing, flame-covered outfit and grips a set of motorcycle handlebars extending from her hips — a contrast to Cairo streets, where most women wear the traditional Muslim headscarves.
TV ads promoting the show, part of Beyonce's "I Am ..." world tour, have run on Egyptian and Arab satellite stations. The tour, which also took Beyonce to the United Arab Emirates last week, had grossed $53.5 million as of October, according to Billboard magazine.
But in Egypt, Mulsim lawmakers and their supporters have waged campaigns on social networking websites, accusing the government of encouraging debauchery and calling for the concert's cancellation.

In the Netherlands, abortions are covered by the ABWZ, which is for "long-term and extraordinary heathcare". It's funded by a payroll tax, which is then distributed to the insurance funds to implement.
The Dutch have one of the lowest abortion rates in Europe (out of those non-theocratic countries where abortion is legal).
Elsewhere on FDL, Jane Hamsher makes the point that we've known for a while: the DC higher-ups in Planned Parenthood and NARAL don't give a shit about defending their principles.

FYI - If you don't have a local dollar store (ours has USB cable all the time), Amazon.com has them dirt-cheap - like .50 each. Less than $5 with the mail shipping for any length you need.

But let’s be clear about this. The only reason that we are in the position where the price of passing health care reform is allowing even liberal Marcy Kaptur to sneeringly dismiss choice activists as narrow class warriors who don’t care about working women is because Planned Parenthood and NARAL have allowed it to happen
We have an HP 5800 that's still going strong. It's not as good for doing large scale printing like the Brother is, but it does pretty well for other things. We also have an Epson dedicated photo printer, and it's very nice.

Unite said thousands of its members would start voting on whether to launch a campaign of industrial action on November 16, the same day as new employment contracts come into force.
The ballot will close on December 14, raising the threat of strikes just before Christmas.
The union will have to give seven days notice of any action, so the earliest walkout would be a few days before Christmas, at the start of the busy festive season.
More than 13,300 cabin crew staff will be balloted, with union leaders predicting a big yes vote in favour of action.

My love swears her vagina isn't scary,
And I believe her, though I know she lies,
With legs apart. Ye Gods! it is so hairy!
A very Satan dwells between her thighs!
A fiery portal is her crotch, a tomb
Where foolish men would living choose to lie;
What my love wishes I would love's a womb
Where boys are born as men, and where they die.
But why does she pretend so to be pure?
And why do knights yet fall to her vagina?

I wonder if our uberlords have considered that eventually women,(or vessels of reproduction) might decide that the new world just isn't good enough to bring new kids into.
