The more important obstacle is not that bushvoters connect sadam and 9/11. more important is seeing, acknowledging and understanding and responding to, or not, the connections between our historical treatment of thirdworld people and our treatment by bin laden. Its the old "give em a taste of their own principles only in a more condensed form. much like columbine was nothing new in principle or tradition but mostly of actor and degree.
There is a connection between our past and 9/11 which ties the habits and history of commerce, as represented and reflected by our contemporary symbols of commerce.

Yes i do understand where bushvoters are coming from. they have a simple little conceptual structure thats not neccessarily wrong, just nearsighted, emotionally compulsive and at gradeschool (playground)level of development. --meaning we adults ought to have little problem handling the kids on the playground-i mean come on!-- Another thing, one we were attacked, short of a philosopher president, we'd have to have a scrappy cowboy else be in worse light as weak and hopeless, now we're viewed simply as strong and mean, which is below wise and strong but above weak and hopeless...meaning kerry showed no ability to grab the wheel successfully here on Georges Excellent Adventure.
and the other theories, be they arab puppets of rogue agents from isreal, russia, china or a few individuals "behind" 9/11.

...also theres those who might know something and do nothing or care little. Theres being blinded and diverted by religious extremism/apolcalypse/jihad. the 911 hijacking wasnt neccessarily in tplanning for four years, it could have been thrown together in response to bushs election, behavior and history.
