Sarah, I'm so sorry to hear of your grand daughters illness. Loosing a child is a horror no one should have to go through. I'm glad your family is strong and holding together through this. Her suffering will soon come to an end and she'll never feel any pain or sorrow again. Those left behind will be the ones with the grief. Comfort yourself with the knowledge that the child is no longer suffering, that no one can ever hurt. She is forever safe.

I did experience an epiphany this week again, culminating last night, and cam home to hear of Sarah and her beloved.
The last time this happened, Barndog was having life experiences that he felt to share some of how it made him feel at the time.
Hope both of you can perhaps help each other like you have others here.
My thoughts are with you and your family, Sarah. I'm glad that hospice has been a solace for you and so sorry for you situation. Peace be with you.
If you come back to read this thread, Sarah Deere, you have my sincere sympathies also. It's so terrible to lose a child or grandchild, who should outlive you in the normal course of things.
I have dealt with the hospice situation, and the people who work there are amazing-I don't know how they do it.

I can only imagine the pain of your family. I will ask my parents and my sister and brother to keep a watch out for your young lovie girl.
When our son was born, we planted a grove of trees. Each year, we plant more trees. When someone dies, my son has taken up with naming one of the trees after that person, so that they are always with him to talk to.
When he read about your granddaughter, he immediately decided a tree needs her name. So he's named it the Darling Deer tree. So you shouldknow, she won't be alone. My son will be talking to her.
