I hope they get a primary challenger, every single one. And I hope I hear who their challenger is so I can make donations to them. And I hope I have a job so I can make good on that pledge.
It's even more depressing that Shrub already said that what Petraeus reports won't make a whit of difference or change his course.

I'll go a bit further on the prediction angle here....
and Dick and the gang will be rolling out the new "Bomb Iran" product. As we've already witnessed this week with articles written about how evil Iran is in WaPo by Robin Wright, NYT by Michael "Judymiller" Gordon. But the most accurate reporting of the new roll out is from what McClatchy's reporter Warren Strobel correctly reports who's leading this clarion call in his article entitled, "Cheney urging strikes against Iran" He's already priming the engine....just like he did in speeches before Iraq.
And no doubt the dems will hem and haw and will somehow (with the help of bluedupe dems)be steamrolled into agreeing to this new product roll out.
Sorry guess I woke up on the pessimistic side of the bed this morning. It's one of those times I will be more than happy to admit my error if my predictions turn out to be wrong.
I couldn't agree more. Despite the standard calls of "purge" and other senseless diatribes, it's time to ask these blue dogs, are they democrats or just republicans hiding under our tent? Make your stand and for once, stand up for what most democrats believe in.
Its like they found the keys to their bat phone and can again call the press and tell them what to say.
Lets get all the weak, incompetent Dem sock puppets to fail at contradicting their new CW to seal the deal.
I just wish someone would confront the Dems and Repubs about the PNAC plan.
This whole Iraq fiasco doesn't make sense if you're working from the older American idea of foreign policy. But we look at the PNAC plan and can see that what they're doing aligns with it and then the non-sensical makes total sense. So I'd just like to have it on the table and debated in the open. It's the herd of elephants in the living room as far as I'm concerned.
If we're going to have a facist nation, then let's just have our leaders own it outright. Then it's a very clear action for the people to oppose or support. This obfuscation is old and insulting. Dems acting like victims when this plan has been clear and out there.
I'm livid for yet another day.
Oh, and something I've been holding on to for a while...
A couple of months ago Thom Hartmann said that as long as Bush believes or gives evidence that he is convinced 9/11 to be connected with Iraq then he has war powers. That's why it is still mentioned over and over in spite of the evidence to the contrary.
