I just read about the George W. Bush Sewage Plant [proposed]. While, at first glance, it seems fitting to name a sewage plant after the cesspool of waste that has been the Bush administration, I'm not sure that something useful like a modern treatment plant should be named after Bush's legacy. Perhaps they should erect a tarpaper shack outhouse just outside the treatment plant, stock it with old sears catalogs instead of toilet paper, and name THAT after Bush.

Helms has had serious health problems since he left office in January, 2003, ending a 30-year congressional career. He had spent time in and out of hospitals and was diagnosed in recent years with vascular dementia.
That certainly explains a lot.

Here's the thing about Jesse : he had enough hate to fight for what he wanted and not to instinctively compromise. i'm sure Carol Moseley-Braun understood that, and returned it in kind. And she has stayed a consistent fighter and voter for the traditional Democratic Party, not the DINO DLC, if i recall correctly.
Besides celebrating the loss of a Jesse, maybe we should start building some angry Democrats for officeholding.
