JP - the trick is that I know the guy that owns the hosting service - have done since I was helping Internet Direct get SBA funding and he was living out of a sleeping bag on ID office floor. So, I've put the deal to him and I'm sure we'll work things out. Not a lot of little not-for-profits require that kind of storage memory, so their pricing structure isn't adjusted properly.

I am still waiting for the arrival of the Maliki story on the front pages of America's papers. So far?
Dead silence. (I think the AP is boycotting the thing. They are Wingnuts of the worst stripe and this makes their man Bush/McShame look bad)

Journalistically, this story and the reaction to it is fascinating. Whether it is the time horizons, or the movement by Bush/MCShame to Obama's position on Afghanistan or the Maliki Government's endorsement of Obama's position: the way this is being presented to the public is telling.
If you understand what is going on and are not scared now (assuming you were not scared before) you truly are a fool.
The Dems have to make hay with this story and the way it is being spun: this is the time to WIN and to cut off the head of the hydra and cauterize the stump.

I was in Bearden yesterday, going to one of my rare lunches with friends. This area is an older one, lots of nice, friendly, locally-owned shops, backed by great, older neighborhoods. I was amazed at the number of available commercial rental spaces available I saw since I had been there only three weeks ago.

I'm assuming that's probably true most places. I wonder if local shops will move in or whether there will be some other adaptive reuse of those spaces.

Iran signed the NPT and permitted numerous IAEA inspections. The treaty permits the development and use of nuclear energy.
Israel has refused to sign the NPT
Israel has refused to permit any IAEA inspections at all.
Israel has hundreds of nuclear war heads
Israel uses cluster bombs
Israel has used chemical weapons against Palestinians
Israel has attacked Syria two times without provocation
Israel has flown over Iran air space as a threat, again without provocation

Yeah, FERC has put in place (via NERC) strict rules about branches. Lots of folks all over the country unhappy about tree trimming more aggressive than in the past. Our electric infrastructure is worn out and can't take even a small hit nowadays.

It amazes me that people (landscapers, homeowners, etc) still plant 'regular' size trees under power lines. One of our local banks did some new landscaping, and planted the nice trees on the berm. Which are under the power lines. If they moved the trees back 10 feet, closer to the building, it might have been smarter.
There's one house on my walk that has planet the miniature type trees, so they're right under the lines, but aren't going to be a threat to the lines.

McCain and the Unitary Executive [Ramesh Ponnuru]
Ilya Somin ably points out that the theory of the unitary executive is not what Bob Barr says it is. Left unaddressed is whether Barr has any basis for claiming that McCain has embraced the theory. I'm not sure that he has, either on the true understanding of that theory or on Barr's.
Barr is a despicable individual (as befits a TRUE conservative). His word, therefore, supersedes either yours or McStain's, who are paler but no less despicable conservatives.

Many Landscape Contractors don't know much about plants of any kind, let alone trees. Homeowners, I don't expect to know. Great dwarf, semi-dwarf and fastigate (narrow, upright) trees exist for use along streets -- but one must know whom to ask for advice.
