I showed the original (Matthau, Stiller, Shaw, etc.) to Mrs. D. on DVD last year. First time she had seen it. It really holds up - what a great film. There's not a bad performance or a wasted scene in the film, and casting Matthau was genius.
I spent the day cleaning and seasoning four cast iron skillets. They look like new and I couldn't be happier.*

I read The Da Vinci Code. While I don't hate it like others do here on this very blog-there are worse books you be stuck reading-I find no reason to read it's prequel.
