hmmm

now, where did that damn dog go to?

GravatarDon't you just love it when the wonks and wankers of the world point to the blogosphere as the source of all our problems, when in fact it's been the deceit, arrogance and ignorance of Bushboy and the Gooper Party that have brought about the debacle that is Iraq, the mess that is Afghanistan and the ominously growing national debt?

When do these so called "experts" direct their fire at the perpetrators of the crimes, instead of those who bear witness against them?

GravatarIs this guy from the Rose law firm that Hitlery ripped off for untold millions?

Gravataroh, and bloggers eat xian babies on spikes.

Gravatarpoop

Well, I was just getting an e-mail from a local cycle dude, who was giving me an estimate on the drive belt change I need for the Vino. $100, picked up, installed and delivered. Dang, that's cheap!

GravatarDon't know where Henry did his undergrad work, but he's currently getting an MBA at UVA. How wonderfully Republican!

Gravatar73 degrees and low humidity here on a sunny Saturday. Late last night I stepped out onto the porch and the tree frogs were making such an amazing racket!

GravatarFrom downstairs:

I dreamed I'd married a girl at the pharmacy.

Cialis, huh?

No, Lexapro.

She really is cute. But just got hitched.
NTodd, Fuck

Lexapro? Hey, cool -- that's one of mine!

GravatarOkay, I got it now. So simple and easy I am surprised nobody thought of before. Fool proof, fool hardy maybe. (Roger Miller reference)

We need to go back to square one with ALL of these people and play the child's game of WHY. These are the rules. When you say something, I ask, "Why?" Then you explain to me until I understand and agree with your answer. The only rules are that I must agree that your point has been proven and you cannot abdicate your responsibility and say something stupid like, "Cause I said so" or "It is a new world and you have to adjust"

Okay? Let's play.

Bloggers are like the Neocons. Why?
We must stay in Iraq getting our asses blown up? Why?
We must ship our jobs to China. Why?
We must allow companies to incorporate offshore to avoid paying taxes. Why?
We must not have nationalized healthcare. Why?
We must not have reasonable gun laws. Why?

i took it about 15 years ago when i left a family business to start my own entrepreneurial journey. 10 deals later (i'm 5 for 10 in the success category, ) i then re-took it the other day online.

i went from an ENFP 15 years ago to INFP presently. i tested several times and kept getting the same result. that's kinda fucked up isn't it?

GravatarI'm cold...and there are wolves after me.

GravatarThe helpful pharmacy staff at Costco told me that the generic Fluoxetine capsules were much less expensive than the generic tablets a month ago, so I made a special call to a human requesting them on my new refill. When I went to pick them up, they had subbed the tablets, and I could have made a fuss, but they fill most Rx's centrally at a different location by machine, which would have meant another 3-hour, 6 bus round trip which didn't seem worth it.

GravatarI'm frankly surprised that Fred Hiatt didn't make the cut today.

"Granted Bush's nominee to the Court of Appeals goes out of his way to be a bigot, but that's all his critics have proven. He should be allowed to serve the rest of his life, screwing minorities.

Salacca edulis common name of salak or snake skin fruit. A palm from Indonesia renowned for their spikes. Handling this plant as it gets older is a pain in the hand.

Taste like??? Hmmm... an off white fruit with a large seed that is slightly sweet and sour. texture isn't much like any other fruit I know. firm but not crunchy.

GravatarYo bats,
London is freakin' cold and wet today. Goin' to see some chap named Shakesbeer or somthin' put on a play tonight called "Love's Labor Lost" in a round theater with a thatched roof. I get to be something called a groundling. Better bring my my woolies, eh?

GravatarNever shake a beer.

GravatarBTW, congestion pricing is great for us walkers, rich folks, and the cabbies. Much less traffic.

GravatarHeh. I missed this:

Now it makes sense. According to the Journal of Pediatrics, parents who use "Baby Einstein" may not be turning their kid into the next Albert. The journal reports that infants understood up to eight fewer words for every hour per day spent watching the DVDs than infants who didn't. The creator of "Baby Einstein" was singled out for praise by President Bush in the 2007 State of the Union address. That explains his vocabulary problems.

Gravatar...a few moments of straight talk from His Straightness, Sen. Fred Thomspon (R-TN) ...

“We are going to be getting in if we get in, and of course, we are in the testing the waters phase. We’re going to be making a statement shortly that will cure all of that. But yeah, we’ll be in traditionally when people get in this race."
Got that? --Josh Marshall

Thompson sounds like he's going to give us a knock-off of BushBoy's illogical speaking style. Needs a better script writer, fer sure.

I mean, what are those creatures actually running for the presidential nominations? Aliens? Robots?

Where have all the people gone?

GravatarAnd BTW, more troops in Iraq today than before the dems took both houses.
Troutski | 08.18.07 - 11:03 am | #

Well, we can't hold them responsible for such things. They only have a majority in both houses. The Very Serious Wise Men of Washington have told us that a super-majority is now required to get anything done in Washington. So, we might as well just quiet down now. Plus, the report of Supreme General and Grand Poobah Petraeus is only a few weeks away. Obviously all our problems will be solved then. Why don't you go shopping, or maybe buy some stock? All must do their part in the Glorious War Against Everyone Else.

GravatarWhat does ohanlon [and the rest of the think tankers] say about the fact that UN inspectors were in Iraq. We didn't have to guess what saddam had. The UN inspectors were doing their job. They found nothing. bush threw them out. Where was ohanlon when this was happening:

Bush to Meet Blair, Aznar in Azores

As he prepared to leave for the Azores, Bush sought to remind Americans that he believes removing Saddam will pave way to peace in the Middle East.
http://www.globalpolicy.org/secu.../ 0314bushto.htm

While ohanlon and others were shitting their pants over what saddam may have the world already knew through UN inspections that saddam had nothing. So bush moved the goal posts. ohanlon is on record saying only wmds would be a reason for invading. We knew there weren't any. What about that?

There is no excuse for 'those people.'
