I think they are holding a fish rodeo in my tubes. I can't see the colortinis anymore. I know it's important to see Hillary Clinton's boobage, John Edwards hairage, and Obama's Iranian dress suit but it's actually more important to HEAR the ideas these people are spouting - something I can't do with the choppy ass USTREAM feed. Edwards: Senator Obama doesn't take money from Washington loobyists.
I'm ready to welcome Dodd into the top tier of candidates. I think he has a lot to offer. Perhaps his destiny is as a running mate for Clinton or Obama. The downside is that his from the Senate would give a Republican governor a chance to choose his replacement.

yes, that would be awful - i mean, imagine if the senate had a republican majority! they'd probably vote in favor of, say, warrantless wiretapping and oppose, say, troop withdrawl.
Or else NSA cut off the Internet flow from YKOS....think they've got the power to do anything once the Senate caved....

Edwards wants to offer an government program, extension of current insurance offered to fed employees--but he will allow businesses to continue to offer insurance, iirc, and definitely allow the private insurers to compete with the gov't programs.
His approach solves one of the arguments against single payer--how can we put all those people at private insurers out of work? How can we devalue the private insurance company stocks?
With his approach, the public chooses--and most will choose the gov't lower cost, better coverage program versus the same or lower coverage from a for-profit private insurer.
It's good in that in undercuts one of those cute little arguments Rethugs use--it actually leverages their chant of "free market choice" against them, let's the people choose.
