Hells bells, when I was in High School, they "drafted" all the freshmen into ROTC band.
We had no choice, we got the military uniform for a one time performance in front of some stupid Light Colonel form the local army base.
Had to put the ROTC guys on review, and they needed music.
Only time in my life I've ever worn a mil uniform.

The US Labor Dept. reporting job losses for the month of August, which plunged the stock market (again).
Bushboy and the scumbags from the Cato Institute are always lying about how his tax cuts for the rich are vital to the economy.
The giant sucking sound in Washington, DC is US jobs being drained away to third world countries, while the rich continue to get subsidized by the rest of us taxpayers.

Elaine Chou said yesterday that the job losses were proof we needed to keep Bush's tax cuts.
I remember the Carter years, when through no fault of his own, OPEC cut oil production and raised prices dramatically. Carter got plenty of heat and innuendo constantly in the MSM and became a one term president.
And yet the disaster Bushboy has wrought is infinitely greater and the MSM continues to treat his debacle in Iraq as "controversial," his tax cuts for the rich as worthwhile and his demonstrable ignorance and ineptitude as bearable.
The MSM is corporate America or fascists with a microphone.
