HULK SMASH

Weird, this is like the hidden thread.

Gravatartime shift.

Gravatarlet me do that walk to the phone booth and no gate will rise, no door will open. I'd just walk thru them. dick cheney.

GravatarInteresting, but Sharky comes off as such a tool I couldn't finish it.

GravatarWould you believe 6 belly dancers and a rhinocerous?

Gravatarmy lord, the lolcat bible makes me very happy.

GravatarThe gist of this prof's thesis is that we are in the midst of a huge paradigm shift as big as the industrial revolution and television. The internet has opened a door that can lead to a change in society that rarely occurs, but may be happening more rapidly due
to the nature and scope of the medium.
He goes on about how much wasted time goes into passive entertainment versus actually interacting with others. Things such as the blogosphere and wikipedia are much more user involved than TV or a book alone.
If anything we are pioneers in a completely different social interaction than has ever occurred before.
What will all of this look like fifty years from now. Will we/they laugh or appreciate the new communities that we pass through today?

GravatarI get it.

Gravatarhiya! hiya! hiya!

GravatarI'm surprised there aren't more comments on this thread, this was a first class and dynamic lecture that I sent to all my contacts. Maybe its a generation thing, but if you grew up wasting your time on the tube, Clay knocks your socks off. Thanks!

GravatarSo will the Get Smart flick with Steve Carrell be any good?

Not a bad casting choice, IMO, but early reviews of the movie are poor.

GravatarOh man. I got a headache from wandering over there.
