I have no reason to doubt this, and while I have on occasion rented a car (be it on a business or personal trip far from home), I've always treated the vehicle with respect, as it's someone else's property I'm borrowing, admittedly paying to do so.

Yeah, Hopkins is in a nicer part of town (and, BTW, congrats, Dad. That's a good school). Amtrack and the U of M schools (law, medicine, dentistry, etc.) are in a less-desirable section. I was there recruiting this fall. Took Amtrack up from DC, actually.
