Dr. Richard Tubb, the president's doctor, was supervising Bush's colonoscopy at the Camp David presidential retreat. The colonoscopy was being performed by a team from the National Naval Medical Center at Bethesda, Md.
"Although no polyps were noted in the exam in 2002, age and history would suggest that there's a reasonable chance that polyps will be noted this time," White House press secretary Tony Snow said Friday. "If so, they'll be removed and evaluated microscopically."
Two polyps were discovered during similar examinations in 1998 and 1999, while Bush was governor of Texas. That made the 61-year-old president a prime candidate for regular examinations.
Results were expected to be available after 48 hours to 72 hours, if not sooner.

I wake up feeling sorry for Brooksie (I know a woman who claims his friendship. She's a nice person, and I'm sure Brooksie is a personable guy. "Brooksie" is apparently a nickname among his circle of friends.). He's confused by the world which refuses to conform to his incredibly parochial, narrow, and ignorant view of it.
Unlike Bush, who is only confused by the fact that no one worships him as the next Harry Potter. Which is a damned good book, by the way; stayed up until I'd read the first 100 pages last night, and only then went to sleep because I had things to do today.
Like wake up feeling sorry for Brooksie. I guess. Gonna go read Harry's story until I have to go out for the day.

Of course, if the number of attacks had dropped considerably this, too, would be good news, because it would be proof that the administration's policies were having a positive effect.
And of the number of attacks had stayed the same, this would also be good news, because a leveling off would reflect a "cooling" period, harkening a new period of stability after growing tensions throughout 2007.
