I hate Republicans. If, as a nurse, I am ever called upon to defibrillate a Republican with a dangerous cardiac arrythmia, I am afraid I'd just walk away and let someone else do it.
Of course, they'd be having a difficult time doing so because I'd probably unplug the defibfillator.

Maybe I'd get a couple other nurses to help me actually pick of the entire crash cart, about the size of a small refridgerator, and slam it down on the Republican's chest.
That would probably put an end to any life-threatening arrythmia.

With its spectacular achievements finding the WMD in Iraq, in protecting New Orleans from Katrina, and in promoting a glorious economy during the past 7 years, who could seriously begrudge giving the Bush administration "unfettered authority"? If it were up to me, the fetters would be so tight, Bush-Cheney could hardly breathe.

My gal Larisa has another constructive suggestion.
In fact, let's all get together and form a corporation called Citizen's Inc., and that way, we will have the same Constitutional protections that the corporations have - sadly. But I am serious. Imagine all the fun we could have of moving all of our money off shore and then claiming we are bankrupt, so that the government has to give us even more money that we can move off shore and steal.

What many of us don't seem to be able to grasp is that those people who drive entire sectors of the economy into the ground aren't like you and me.
They're psychopaths. They enjoy what they're doing, and they walk away with billions. They live to screw people over.

A $700 billion expenditure on distressed mortgage-related assets would be roughly what the country has spent so far in direct costs on the Iraq war and more than the Pentagon’s total yearly budget appropriation. Divided across the population, it would amount to more than $2,000 for every man, woman and child in the United States.
Wow, that means that my share is $800 more than both of the Bush stimulus checks I got combined.
Heck of a job, Wall Street.

How much do you want to bet that David Addington wrote the White House bail-out proposal?
No real oversight.
No real accountability, especially for the Wall Street CEOs.
No help for working-class citizens in America.
And the corrupt Republican leadership in Congress, the lapdogs responsible for the Wall Street meltdown, are telling Democrats in Congress to not "obstruct" the White House proposal, to not request any oversight other than a hearing three months down the road, to not help the American taxpayers who are footing this bail-out bill.
Yep, Addington's shit-covered fingerprints are all over this White House proposal, along with Cheney's, and Bush's, and Boehner's, as well as all the corrupt, anti-American, neo-Fascist Republicans...who no doubt will all sign onto this White House proposal, blocking any attempts by Democrats to provide oversight and relief for American taxpayers below the wealthiest top 1 percent.
For the corrupt, and actually borderline-evil, Republicans, it's politics all the time...and screw America.
