I listened to Obama's intelligence advisor (Rand Beers) on Rachel's radio show yesterday and he said all the things about the surge that I wish Obama would have said.
The surge was supposed to be about political reconciliation. That didn't happen.
Violence was already going down because of the Sunni Awakening, al Sadr calling off his dogs and the fact that the Shiites had already killed or made the Sunnis run away so there was nobody left to kill.
It's all bullshit.
