What Obama talks about resonates with me for a reason that may take some here aback:
My military training.
You see, if you're one of the elite, the guys with shiny badges...the brass...you're trained that the troops come first. If it's chow time, you wait until they've got their fill, then you get some. You take care of the backbone so that the hangers on have the support they need to do what they're supposed to do.
The GOP is the exact opposite in action. The elite takes the best, and everyone else subsists on the scraps. We're seeing that in the bailout. We see that in GOP tax policy.
No wonder 100,000 people gather in St. Louis to see Barack Obama. They get it, too.

You have prostituted yourself with the world and sat in silence while Satan defies the army of the Living God. You have believed the lie of pluralism that there are many faiths that lead to God, whoever or whatever you choose God to be. You have given ourselves over to lust and sexual immorality bowing down to the idol of self-worship offering your children on the altar of convenience through abortion. You have called evil good and good evil condoning the sin of homosexuality as an acceptable lifestyle. You have allowed the Law of God to be hidden away in a closet as the world screams out in protest because their deeds are evil and their sin is exposed by the light of God’s word. God’s law brings judgement! The law reveals all sin whether we are the righteous or the unrighteous.

".... You have believed the lie of pluralism that there are many faiths that lead to God,"
Well, Jesus was a Jew. St.Paul and St. James, two founders of Christianity, were not all that sure that Christianity simply wasn't Judaism, stripped for export to the Greeks. So, it appears that there at least two paths that lead to God. Dig a little bit deeper and you might find at least one more faith that embraces the Old and New Testament.
The trouble with history from a fundie point of view is that it complicates their one-dimensional message.

In that photo of Barack in St. Louis, that building with the dome in the background is the Old St. Louis Courthouse. That courthouse was the site of the Dred Scott trial where in 1857 Chief Justice Taney wrote for the majority:
We think they [people of African ancestry] are not [citizens], and that they are not included, and were not intended to be included, under the word "citizens" in the Constitution, and can therefore claim none of the rights and privileges which that instrument provides for and secures to citizens of the United States.

From the Dred Scot decision above:
We think they [people of African ancestry] are not [citizens], and that they are not included, and were not intended to be included, under the word "citizens" in the Constitution, and can therefore claim none of the rights and privileges which that instrument provides for and secures to citizens of the United States.
