I'MMA LET YOU FINISH

The Federal Code of Judicial Conduct only applies to four-footers. Those with two feet are exempt, because they're better.

Interesting - according to the White House web site, Clark was nominated, i.e., he was a "judicial nominee", on January 23, 2002. The guy shouldn't have even been on the ticket. Chutzpah.

GravatarSo, in essence, his entire campaign was actually illegal. Will we see the rightwingers leap on this Republican illegally running for office? Well, no. That would require consitency in indignation.

Kathy Harris shouldn't be running, this guy shouldn't be running. Why do these things only seem to matter if it's a Democrat and if the situation is actually more complex than "I disregarded the law"?

GravatarIt depends on what the definition of 'Running for public office' is? Right?

During the impeachment hearings didn't it come out that Tom Delay had lied to a grand jury when he denied being CEO of his former company when in fact he HAD been at the time of the question? It didn't matter.

They killed (through abuse by design - Espy anyone?) the special prosecuter law and then stole the election. Now they're packing the courts.

Even in the face of obvious illegality the Dems don't have the backbone to make an issue of it and the press doesn't have the stomach to make an issue of it. And now corporate america is only one seat away from controlling all three houses of government AND the national media.

Damn. I had such high hopes for the new millennium.
