HULK SMASH

GravatarWith Zipcar, you don't pay for the gas.

Gravatar3.26 per gallon for me today

Gravatarmer?

GravatarJust leave it below "E" and let the next guy deal with it. Like my Dad always did with the milk.

GravatarYep.

GravatarWelcome to our world.

Gravatar$3.99/gal today (premium, i fear)

GravatarSocialist.

Gravatardidn't pay, used their gas card

Gravatar"$3.99/gal today (premium, i fear)"

GravatarTwix just aint waht they used to be. meh.

GravatarNow you should get a T-shirt that proclaims that fact, get a hat and a harmonica and play the blues on the steps till you get the money back in tips.

GravatarF.U.T.K.

GravatarAccording to ABC News:
"Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., the presumptive 2008 Republican nominee for president, says a premature withdrawal from Iraq could mean a genocidal civil war".

McCain better send Muqtada a check fast.
He can;t keep up with reality

GravatarI saw an argument yesterday calling for making he oil industry a public utiility, like the electric companies.

I think it sounded like a pretty good idea.

GravatarCOULD BE a genocidal civil war? WTF.

GravatarThankfully my car now runs on my piss.

GravatarTry buying it 20 gallons at a time, every week. For one car.

Then there's the other car....

GravatarOh, I thought you all had to just man up and take it to the pump when it came around your turn and the little light came on.

if we did that, we would have to invade ourselves. very tricky.

GravatarThankfully my car now runs on my piss.

Asparagus will boost your octane.

Gravatar"Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., the presumptive 2008 Republican nominee for president, says a premature withdrawal from Iraq could mean a genocidal civil war".

I observed long ago that a premature invasion could mean a genocidal civil war.

GravatarAsk Steven Seagal about an internal combustion engine that runs on water.

Do you notice how the reasons for not leaving are the same as the ones for not invading in the first place?

GravatarBad gas? It's a commin'. Two days of leg of lamb, salmon last night, and a salmon spread sandwich for lunch.

Gravatar"I saw an argument yesterday calling for making he oil industry a public utiility, like the electric companies. "

I think it is ironic that could be the end result. The industry and it's protectors are setting themselves up not for regulation, but a complete take over at this point. Don't piss off the villagers.

Gravatar$ 3.35/ gal. in Milwaukee. Person in front of me filled his pickup truck. Total on pump was $ 124.00 My car was $16.00.

Has ABC said anything about the presumptive 2008 Republican nominee for President breaking the campaign laws that he helped to create? Did they say anything about it could land him 5 years in jail. That would be a year longer than his presumptive first term.

He should start a blog.

GravatarDo you notice how the reasons for not leaving are the same as the ones for not invading in the first place?

And yet Republican heads do not explode.

As I understand McCain's position: if we aren't taking casualties, we don't need to leave; if we are taking casualties, we can't leave.

It's very simple, really.

I'll pass that request onto our cancellation dept just as soon as you provide me with your SSN for verification purposes.

Gravatarspeaking of salmon; report on NPR today that wild salmon could go to 30 to 50dollars a lb.

Gravatarand yet the security moms and pops in my hood are still barreling down the boulevard in their V-8 escalades and suburbans. car share? i'd settle for road share with our bikes.

GravatarI love every once in a while they do the standard story about gas prices.

"There is no collusion!"

I remember when they did that with electricity and natural gas in California.
"Those plants just had to be shut down for maintenance their is no collusion."
Enron and El Paso Gas documents reveal.

Well actually their was.

"Well that was different!"

Not only do I want people to not snear when I talk about possible coordinated action, I want my money back!

What the trick is that the defination of coordinated action makes it really hard to stop when many people are all going after the same goal and it isn't based in a smoke filled hotel room.
It's just everyone knows what they need to do and nobody actually talks about it. Unless they do. And they get caught (Enron) and then the press will call us Tin Foil hatters the next time we suggest collusion.

GravatarIt is good to be an Executive Preznitzy Preznit

GravatarWelcome to the party, pal!

::throws Atrios through windshield::

GravatarI'd be more inclined to say 'stylized' than 'abstract'. Usually in art, when something is considered abstract there are no definable real-life things like people or animals (including symbols).

GravatarNationalize the energy, transportation, communication, healthcare, and hell just take it all -- revolution baby! Use the time to develop responsible rules for corporate citizenship and after say ten or fifteen years slowly reintroduce capitalism...it needs a sizable time out though. I don't for a minute assume the state is the appropriate PERMANENT guardian of these industries, but it will be easier to fix some glaring problems if we take it away from the WATB who don't want to fucking pay for anything!.

Gravatardidn't pay, used their gas card

Ah, the same model as Zipcar, then. It's so nice not to have worry about gas prices.

GravatarThe problem with Obama voters is they don't know what real working class Democrats know. Yup, gas is expensive. It has been for a while.

GravatarI saw an argument yesterday calling for making he oil industry a public utiility, like the electric companies.

foolme1ns

That's it--nationalize 'em!

Gravatargo to Hell, helicopter Ben

Gravatar$101.01 to fill up my truck today & I used #2 diesel. That bites.

GravatarOuch! is right. But look on the bright side of life, you could live in CA where most people live in their cars going somewhere.

GravatarI paid €1.229 per litre when I filled up the other day (Ireland). That works out to around $6.50 to $7.00 a gallon.

Yes, gas is so expensive. Must be awful.
