Depends on what she really said. And meant. According to the article: "Loeffelman answered honestly, telling her class that she disapproved of interracial marriage because it produced children who are likely to be persecuted. "

Taken at face value, this is a likely outcome in some parts of the country. There are places I wouldn't take my wife (we're a black/white couple) because of that attitude, and if we have kids, I'd be afraid of this reaction too, especially if they look mixed, when I'm not around to protect them (even when I am there, matter of fact.)

"Disapprove" could be a poor choice of words with good intention, or it could have been an attempted "PC clean up" that didn't quite cover up the poisonous attitude you attribute to her. But we'll really never know what she really said now that everyone has lawyered up and carefully recreating what they claim to have actually said and meant by it.
