HULK SMASH!!!

ole!

GravatarTim Russert! Ha!

Gravatartres

GravatarBefore TKK and leibniz. That's all that's really important.

GravatarI see!

Gravataronly cuz i can't spell voila!

GravatarDamn you, leibniz.

GravatarDennis Kucinich was the most electible.

Gravatarmer, no thread is complete without you damning Leibniz

Gravatarmerisnotelectable.

GravatarElectability? What a crock.

GravatarDidn't Timmeh Russert play Chevy Chases brother inlaw in the National Lampoons Family Vacation movies?

GravatarDennis Kucinich was the most electible.
NTodd, Pink Poseur

He got my vote. In this primary and the last one.

GravatarI'll tell you who's NOT electable: a Republican.

Not this time. No. Way.

Don't believe me? Go stand around a gas pump for a while.

GravatarDennis Kucinich was the most electible.
NTodd, Pink Poseur
===================================
Yes he was! But the DNC and the MSM feared him and the truth he spoke of.

GravatarGo to the booth and vote knowing what 4 more years of a republican in the whitehouse will do to our country.

GravatarDidn't Timmeh Russert play Chevy Chases brother inlaw in the National Lampoons Family Vacation movies?

Good lord. Comparing Randy Quaid to Pumpkinhaid is blasphemous.

GravatarThere are a lot of people who sincerely believe that their One True Candidate is more electable, along with plenty of people who take the superlative stance that only their candidate is electable. They may be right. I have no idea. I know smart astute people on both sides who think that way about their candidate. I long ago decided I would do my best to not head down the electability argument path. There are arguments on both sides, but I don't find either to be especially convincing. Ultimately I don't think you should head into the voting both and base your choice on how you imagine the American People will vote. That's Tim Russert's job, to divine the will of that mythical Amurkan, and we all know his track record.

I don't know if I can stand much more of these transparently anti-Clinton diatribes.

Gravatardave, or wait in the cash line at the supermarket.

GravatarHe got my vote. In this primary and the last one.

I voted for Dean, the most electible candidate last time. But this year, even after he dropped out, I voted DK.

Thus, there will never be blood on my hands! Er something...

GravatarDennis Kucinich was the most electible.
NTodd, Pink Poseur

that's what i said. and so was dean.

anyone is electible. all he or she has to do is get the most votes*.

*not valid in florida or ohio

Gravatar...or wait in the cash line at the supermarket.

That's starting to seep in, too.

GravatarShrugs.

I have fatigue. Political fatigue.

GravatarIf Randy Quaid had cow manure rubbed in his hair, and then he was hit in the face with a shovel, and then fell down an elevator shaft and landed upright, he could be mistaken for Tim Russert.

Gravataryou are NOT going to just use my vagina and then throw it away for Hussein Obama

why can't i get a vagina to throw away?

.

GravatarMCGOVERN/EAGLETON....

GravatarIf Randy Quaid had cow manure rubbed in his hair, and then he was hit in the face with a shovel, and then fell down an elevator shaft and landed upright, he could be mistaken for Tim Russert.

i think you've got the order backwards there, tom.

cause and effect. cause and effect.

GravatarDennis Kucinich was the most electible.
NTodd, Pink Poseur

Now if people had just voted for him...

GravatarDennis Kucinich was the most electible.
NTodd, Pink Poseur | Homepage | 05.31.08 - 9:10 pm |

A hobbit married to a Wood Elf?

I don't think so.

GravatarIsn't Hillary's (media-manufactured) controversial side - and consequently her electability - the reason why many don't want her as a VP?

GravatarNow if people had just voted for him...
A. Morphous | 05.31.08 - 9:16 pm | #

they couldn't because he could never win. because people wouldn't vote for him. because he couldn't win. because ...

Gravatarit's obvious that Young Frank Sinatra is the most electable candidate possible

.

GravatarJohn Travolta singing "Gonna Let Her In ..." was extremely electable.

GravatarVicki, I hear you on the fatigue part.

GravatarDennis Kucinich was the most electible.
NTodd, Pink Poseur | Homepage | 05.31.08 - 9:10 pm |

A hobbit married to a Wood Elf?

I don't think so.
Buckeye. Dealer of Rare Coins | 05.31.08 - 9:16 pm | #

Buckeye just gave the perfect example of why our country is so fucked. Judging a candidate by his/her physical appearance.

GravatarA hobbit married to a Wood Elf?

Shire and Mirkwood 08!

GravatarGWPDA, my friend, what do you think of all of this madness?

What about our Al?

GravatarI don't think it is fucking funny that I have to watch an ARMY commericial during the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Sorry, sort of went off there.

Gravatarhannity:

"obama is minimizing his connection with an alleged former member of the palestine liberation organization"

is it possible for a connection to be more tenuous than that?

.

GravatarThese dem machinations have sucked the air out of the McBush campaign so far.

Of course, so could a match.

GravatarCamelot,

Here in Michigan, I've had to endure two McCain ads during the game.

By the way, I really do love Pittsburgh. It's a beautiful city.

GravatarGWPDA, my friend, what do you think of all of this madness? What about our Al?

I WANT AL.

GravatarHere in Michigan...

Hey, I'm working in Detwah next week.

Gravatari am the most electable because my last election lasted more than four hours and i had to call a physicist

.

GravatarYes, Pittsburgh is beautiful.

But God, two McCain commericials; ugh, I don't remember seeing one at all, ever.

GravatarA hobbit married to a Wood Elf?

Shire and Mirkwood 08!
NTodd, Pink Poseur | Homepage | 05.31.08 - 9:19 pm |

So should Dennis play Bilbo, or should James McAvoy?

GravatarMore wankery upstairs people

GravatarI don't think it is fucking funny that I have to watch an ARMY commericial during the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Sorry, sort of went off there.

Emblematic of Canadian Hockey Supremacy.....

GravatarDon't whine when McCain wins.

Gravatarmy namestealer was previously known as "Harriet Christian speaks for m"

Gravatarkeith richards/ charlie manson

ok, maybe we'll make charlie sec. of defense. he has experience with violence in the desert.

GravatarSo because one hack pretends to analyze electability data (but really doesn't), anyone who does so is pursuing a fool's errand? This is your argument in a post about silly arguments?

To pick just one data point, look at Obama's favorable/unfavorable rating. Over time they have done nothing but get worse. They are now net unfavorable. But don't worry, say the Obamabots! This doesn't meant that the more people see of him, the less they like him. No problem here! Clap louder!

Nah, none of the smarties play the electability game. That's why there was the overwhelming show of support for Kucinich and Dodd in the blogosphere.

GravatarWell Hillary did say there was a right-wing conspiracy and she was partially right – but not a conspiracy if it’s in the public’s wide range view of simple mobster activity and of course the Clintons were a BIG part of it.

AND now it's a left-wing conspiracy, but actually she drop the ball and Obama, he was just fight for his all - opps poor Hill, than she couldn't make up lost time and she LOST the election cause she lost the ball.

It sucks, I know - poor Clintons, whatever will they do?

GravatarI would add, as a footnote, that you put all "electability" arguments aside and allow whichever candidate win within the rules.

And don't change the rules or move the goalposts because your candidate is losing. That is pathetic, no matter who engages in it.

GravatarThank you!

Now if the "I KNOW My Person Can Win and the Other One Can't!" people would just stop shouting and insisting everyone else is stoopid because they can't see the magic invisible crystal ball which makes 100% true predictions for five months from now.

I never dreamed I be so sick of passionate Democrats.

GravatarSince Atrios rejects electability as a basis for his support for Obama, I guess that means that he supports him on the substance of his platform, which means that of the two Dems, he supports the candidate who rejects universal health care, makes noises about "fixing" the Social Security "crisis" and lauds Reagan and the Republicans for being the party of ideas.

Good to know.

Remember when this blog didn't suck, even ironically?

GravatarOh, and I forgot one more thing: Atrios supports a race baiter. (Loved his remark about the RFK remarks "not being such a big deal". Nice of him to exonerate HRC after his candidate tried to assassinate her character).

Also good to know.

GravatarWhat I love about myself is that I am just about completely unelectable!

Gravatar"being married to a crack-ho makes me electable"-John McCain

GravatarIt's funny how McCain is so boring that his supporters are pretending to be Hillary dead-enders just to kill the monotony.

GravatarIndeed.
