Dennis Kucinich was the most electible.

Yes he was! But the DNC and the MSM feared him and the truth he spoke of.

Good lord. Comparing Randy Quaid to Pumpkinhaid is blasphemous.

There are a lot of people who sincerely believe that their One True Candidate is more electable, along with plenty of people who take the superlative stance that only their candidate is electable. They may be right. I have no idea. I know smart astute people on both sides who think that way about their candidate. I long ago decided I would do my best to not head down the electability argument path. There are arguments on both sides, but I don't find either to be especially convincing. Ultimately I don't think you should head into the voting both and base your choice on how you imagine the American People will vote. That's Tim Russert's job, to divine the will of that mythical Amurkan, and we all know his track record.
I don't know if I can stand much more of these transparently anti-Clinton diatribes.

He got my vote. In this primary and the last one.
I voted for Dean, the most electible candidate last time. But this year, even after he dropped out, I voted DK.
Thus, there will never be blood on my hands! Er something...

So because one hack pretends to analyze electability data (but really doesn't), anyone who does so is pursuing a fool's errand? This is your argument in a post about silly arguments?
To pick just one data point, look at Obama's favorable/unfavorable rating. Over time they have done nothing but get worse. They are now net unfavorable. But don't worry, say the Obamabots! This doesn't meant that the more people see of him, the less they like him. No problem here! Clap louder!
Nah, none of the smarties play the electability game. That's why there was the overwhelming show of support for Kucinich and Dodd in the blogosphere.

Well Hillary did say there was a right-wing conspiracy and she was partially right – but not a conspiracy if it’s in the public’s wide range view of simple mobster activity and of course the Clintons were a BIG part of it.
AND now it's a left-wing conspiracy, but actually she drop the ball and Obama, he was just fight for his all - opps poor Hill, than she couldn't make up lost time and she LOST the election cause she lost the ball.
It sucks, I know - poor Clintons, whatever will they do?

I would add, as a footnote, that you put all "electability" arguments aside and allow whichever candidate win within the rules.
And don't change the rules or move the goalposts because your candidate is losing. That is pathetic, no matter who engages in it.

Now if the "I KNOW My Person Can Win and the Other One Can't!" people would just stop shouting and insisting everyone else is stoopid because they can't see the magic invisible crystal ball which makes 100% true predictions for five months from now.

Since Atrios rejects electability as a basis for his support for Obama, I guess that means that he supports him on the substance of his platform, which means that of the two Dems, he supports the candidate who rejects universal health care, makes noises about "fixing" the Social Security "crisis" and lauds Reagan and the Republicans for being the party of ideas.
Good to know.
Remember when this blog didn't suck, even ironically?

Oh, and I forgot one more thing: Atrios supports a race baiter. (Loved his remark about the RFK remarks "not being such a big deal". Nice of him to exonerate HRC after his candidate tried to assassinate her character).
Also good to know.
