Did you read the NYT article? The people they interviewed said he toked up, but only in a social setting, and that they never noticed an issue. The article also points out that Obama devoted a page and a half out of 500 or so in his book to his use of pot and blow. Seems like everyone agrees he did what damned near everybody did in 1978 with regard to marijuana. And he didn't write about it to look cool, he wrote about it to be honest. Jeez.

I don't want anyone to get overconfident; I preface my own thoughts with, "if the Dems don't figure out a good way to fuck it up." But I think people have had it up to here with the 'thugs, and are ready for something different. And they might even have built up a little immunity to Vote Republican or Osama will Eat Your Children, too. Even the relentless attacks might fall on deaf ears.

K&Y: I'm not a Hillary supporter. I've neither voted for her, or anyone, (due to illness in my family) in the primaries nor donated to her campaign. I haven't made up my mind yet. Hell, I'll defend Obama if he's the nominee. I never said Hillary was preferable. I'm just saying Obama needs to be prepared for the GOP and MSM attacks.
