Couldn't agree with you more, Attila. I was subjected to extra scrutiny a few years ago on two flights within the US, and I had the feeling the reason was that I had been flagged because my trip originated in Israel. While my treatment was not half as bad as what some of the people mentioned in the articles you link to experienced, I couldn't help thinking, as someone who lives in Israel, that profiling is the only way to go. As Israeli security experts have said a zillion times, if you won't profile, you're not going to have security. Not PC, but simply a fact of life.
What the heck is Rhonda Gaynier complaining about? The person who performed the pat down on her was a female. Look at her, why would any mam want to grope HER?
