Gravatar Yo homey. No offense--and I don't wanna call you an uneducated idiot--but when I heard/saw his first dumb statement, I knew exactly who Kerry was talking about and it wasn't the troops. I have to say, only an uneducated idiot would think he was talking about the military (I grew up in the military, by the by).

Anyone, even an uneducated idiot, who takes the time to read Kerry's response, will have to sit back and wonder why right wingnuts bothered to have another little psychedelic freakout over him. They can't support their own president (Bush) or his policies with any words resembling "solution," "answers" or "clarity," so they all jump on poor ol' John Kerry for making some half-assed statement.

Now, you want dumb half-assed statements to ponder? Ponder this:

"As you can possibly see, I have an injury myself -- not here at the hospital, but in combat with a cedar. I eventually won. The cedar gave me a little scratch. As a matter of fact, the Colonel asked if I needed first aid when she first saw me. I was able to avoid any major surgical operations here, but thanks for your compassion, Colonel." --George W. Bush, after visiting with wounded veterans from the Amputee Care Center of Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas, Jan. 1, 2006

That's your boy talking to some chopped-up cannon fodder (troops) he could care less about.

Regarding education and the choices/options commensurate with the luxuries (yes, sadly, it is a luxury for many) enjoyed thereof, hark your sorry selves back to Dick Cheney's statement re his lack of military service. Remember?

"I had other priorities in the sixties than military service." –on his five draft deferments, April 5, 1989.

Now, that's what we call bullshit.

From here to eternity, I'm voting anything BUT Republican.

Gravatar Not only are you not voting Republican, you're not even sniffing common sense.
