Gravatar The media has no interests in this, AubreyJ.

It's a scandal in the making, and McCain better hammer the point, and soon.

Gravatar Tuesday night better be the night he gets with it too.

Thanks, Donald...

Gravatar Hear! Hear! If he, heaven forbids, gets elected, I'm going to wear a black armband until the country is free again.

Gravatar You know, the shrillness of these comments is breathtaking. The GOP is not just going to lose the White House, but will go down to defeat of historic proportions in Congress. Why? Is it because all of a sudden everybody has lost their marbles? Nope. Look inward, people. The GOP has failed the people on basically EVERY LEVEL imaginable.

Their trickle-down economic model? Woosh. Obviously total garbage.

War in Iraq? Maybe Iran, Syria, but IRAQ? The country we had in the grip of a no-fly-zone, under control and without the ability to make any move without us knowing it? Dumbest move ever.

Spending as far as the eye can see. Biggest spenders in US history, those so-called "conservatives."

Many more reasons, but those are some of the bigger ones. To no ones surprise Republicanism is in its dying throes. Tell yourselves that it is because "the media" wants Democrats or because the American people are "stupid" instead of looking at the real reason for what will go down in a few weeks. That way you insure that there is no adjustment, no self-reassessment, for another decade.

Must be great to be in the clouds without realization of the real reasons your side is in as much trouble as it is today.

Gravatar If Palin wants to bring this up, she really needs to be careful. One of the people who McCain pals around with is G. Gordon Liddy, who was involved in the Watergate scandal and admitted in his autobiography to plotting to kill people. Oh, and on his radio show, he instructed people on the best way to kill government agents. http://straighttalkonmccain.blog...- terrorism.html

Gravatar Not just that, Sean, but McCain's involvement in the Keating Five scandal (McCain was Keating's pinky finger of his five scoundrels) brings home two decades of McCain's involvement in our country's sorry history of corruption that has surrounded the Savings & Loan and Mortgage industries with McCain an integral part of the shady side of it, even back when it all started going bad.

How more ironic can it get? The one politician who was deeply involved in THE major mortgage corruption scandal of that time is now the candidate of a major political party during a time in which the mortgage industry is once again front and center of our economic discussion?
