Aubrey:
After reading this post I recalled "Charlie Wilson's War" about our assistance to the Afghans in helping them to defeat Russia. After it was all over when he requested funding to help rebuild the infrastructure, schools,medical facilities ect. we said no! Now we are the ones there and I truly hope lost opportunities from the past are accounted for. Winning the hearts and minds of the people is the real battle.
