Summer's delight indeed! You have the right idea. Your video and your flickr set are sending me to the market for my own small window garden. All winter, I've been looking gratefully at Saint-Aignan's gorgeous flowers. Now is the time to put my green thumb into action. I shouldn't have problems with cacti. They're so colourful on your photo. Thanks for the post and the links. I might see all the way to London "if it wasn't for the houses in between."
