Doesn't give me much Hope, Avi... we went to the one in LA last year- but we unfortunately landed in the middle of fucking spring break- which sucked- it looked like the movies of new york during rush hour...
Next week we head out for Euro-Disney- where they have "Space Mtn 2" and other such... I'll have to take notes and compare. I have never been to the one in FL.

Well Mr. Yoda doesn't eat steak so maybe I'll do Salmon and BJ Day.
Also Mr. Yoda was too wussy to go on the Haunted House ride so I had to go by myself

MsFreud, kids will have fun. DisneyWorld in Orlando is much better than LA, but they're all crowded, especially at the wrong time.
BPR, I first went to Disney at age 5, and I went on most of the rides. It's by height for some rides, but there are plenty that are all-ages. Most of the rides are not rollercoasters, but just themed slow-moving rides.
Dawn, are you sure you're not just still high from last night and saying that?
Joe, nobody told Britt either.
Mistress Yoda, that is wussy! It's not scary in the slightest.
Tracy, if you do figure it out, let me know. I'll want detailed instructions.

I took my son there and I was in HELL the entire time. He loved it and in his defense he was only 6ish. I would rather poke myself in the eye repeatedly and light myself on fire. I think that sounds MUCH more enjoyable than WDW.
I know there are some people who contend it is the happiest place on earth. And to them up yours!

I agree with Dawn about your drawings. This one is now my desktop background.
I truly wonder what a $21 veggie burger tastes like. I've had some effing awesome veggie burgers (especially if they're topped with bacon) in my life, but apparently I'm missing out. Someday I'll go to Disney and find out for myself, at which time the price for the burger will likely be $42 and I won't be so psyched to try it anymore.

Disneyland and Walt Disney World are two of those places that never seem to live up to the rabid enthusiasm I had as a kid. It's still possible to have fun at Disney if you've got the right group of people along, but I end up having a much, much better time at coaster parks like Islands of Adventure. It sucks getting old.
Of course, the best fun ever can be found at DaveLand, the Daviest Place on Earth!

I'm all for Steal and Blowjob Day. I can order the steak... now to find someone to give a BJ... hmmmm...
I have a special part in my heart for all things Disney. More for the man and the magic he created than the corporate mongering that goes on. I however agree that by adding Johnny Depp, Pirates of the Carribean will never be the same.

Is this another one of those things that Britt agreed to by not responding to emails last Friday?
Sounds good to me. Considering I'm going to lose anyway. Oh well... Britt and I will just have to go shopping for naughty things to make up for it. I know you guys hate missing out on that!
BTW, with all the talk about how DisneyWORLD is so much better than DisneyLAND... it sounds like the only thing that gets updated is DisneyLAND. HAHA!

I haven't been to Disney since i was about ten, but my boyfriends mother is somewhat OBSESSED. She takes the whole family (her, his step-dad, grandmother, brother & brothers wife & 3 kids, sister, sisters finance & him) every fucking year. And they stay at the really nice villa hotels...they have like a billion Disney points to spend.
the creepiest tho was the day I walked into his room and noticed the knob on his white foldout closet door had been replace with a mickey's paw - as had all other knobs in the entire house....
never been to Disney Land, only West coast theme park i have been to was Universal studios (right? thats where we went?? ). But definitely plan on taking you up on your offer of housing if I ever can afford a vacation to florida

Amy, yup. That's what she gets for not paying attention. And Disneyland sucks - Disney World is its own self-enclosed kingdom.
Julianne, that is creepy! And yes, we went to Universal. You read a book through the whole thing, so I'm not surprised you don't remember.

I still want to go to Disneyworld. When Doug and I visited Orlando a few years ago, we didn't go--kinda wish I did. But we went to a craptacular place (it's a wonder we didn't get struck down by lightening or something) called Holy Land Experience or something? We called it Jesusland. *snort* We only went because it was funny and because we're irreverent assholes.
Disneyland was fun--my sister and I went last year, oh yeah, my husband was there, too. We got in a big fight over a hotdog so I have blocked him from my memory of Disneyland.
We had a great time and yes, while the rides were a bit outdated, we still had a good time. The only really, really lame and outdated feature at Disneyland was Tomorrowland which is more like 10yearsagoland.

Jen, actually, they cost $33 Million.
Steph, I may have inflated the prices a tad.
Miss Misery, no! You want to go to Disney World. Disneyland is a shitty place in California.
Mr. Fab, actually, and I'm ashamed to admit this, but it's one and a half days.

We did go! It was HIGH-larious! Although they did have a really good collection of scrolls that was kind of interesting.
But DOOOOOD...the cafe at Jesusland made me nearly pop a vein! They have a Goliath Burger. For dessert, they have Caesar's Delight Strawberry Shortcake. For lighter fare, choose the Centurion Salad. I. Nearly. Shit. It was all Kosher though! The Jaffa hot dog was Hebrew National.
The whole place is a smidge from being totally sacreligious without meaning to be.

Disneyland never had Carousel of Progress. I haven't been since they made the Pirates of the Carribean movie, but last time we were there, we went on the ride quite a bit. I always liked that one.
My husband couldn't get enough of Star Tours. After the first time, that ride just isn't fun for me anymore.
I want to go to DisneyWorld!!!
(BTW, my husband and I celebrated S&BJ day the same way we did for V-day.)

We didn't get kicked out for blasphemy. Although they will kick you out if you "cause a scene" or wear short shorts or a tank top or spandex. Right. So you should get some spandex short shorts and a tube top and roll in--see what happens. hehe

Your interpretation of your day at Disney is classic. I especially love the $21 veggie burger.
