That's what makes it so tragic, Jolie. Ernie shouldn't have been the one to die. Bert was the cranky one. Always bitching and complaining. He should've been the one to go!
Wow. I hadn't realized how much these characters meant to me. I teared up at the horrible image of Bert crying over his dead friends body.
It really does do well to illustrate the evil that is forcing people to be what they are not.

Exactly Steph. Bert was always the more snobby of the two. Ernie was always so personable and friendly. All Bert ever did was complain, complain, complain...
