What would really be cool here is if you posted about slow drivers. You know, I bet no one has EVER used that topic before.
(am I too obvious?)

Oh, please. As if you were previously lacking an excuse.

Sure, blame it on old people. So relatively speaking, it's all your fault.

I've always thought Florida was America's answer to the Middle East.

Ugh-- I fucking hate old people.
...Uh, I mean, old people that drive badly. [nervous laugh]

Wait another few years ya old fart...hahaha! :-P
I really don't know how my grandfather was able to keep his license. He was a total crazy "sumbitch" out on the road.

RW, not at all. I know better than to delve into topics that every other fucker out there writes about.
Tracy, good point. But now I have a legitimate one!
Sara, oooooohhhh. I see.
Grant, says the man in Hotlanta, the armpit of the south.
Greg, no reason to lie here. You can let your hatred of the geriatric flow freely.
Donna, you're a young'un too, compared to the senior citizens motoring around Orlando.

I rarely comment on the driving abilities of others. As it turns out, I'm not a very good driver either.
As for old people, I love them. I'm very into that whole vintage/retro thing. The elderly are great vintage accessories.

found you through Stephanie...
My son-in-law once asked me if a lot of people flip me off when I drive. and I'm a grandma. shit. But I don't live in Florida, so I'm still all right, whew. (it's my story)

Mist, I agree. I keep my great grandfater around for parties - he's a great conversation starter.
Dawn, yeah, it's probably the alligators. Or the hurricanes.
Tug, thanks for the visit and comment. Not all people over the age of 60 suck. Only most of them!

Tug's comment made me realize that the only time I get flipped off by drivers, is by the OLD drivers...I'm talking on deaths door step usin' oxygen tanks drivers. I always laugh my head off when I see an old lady, who can barely see over the steering wheel flipping me the bird. Cracks me up every time.
Oh, and I made my dad stop driving 10 years ago, precisely because he couldn't see, had no reflexes, and I didn't want to be associated with one of those "old fart" drivers. LOL

My vault of senior floridians is from when we used to own a Condo down there in Ormond Beach which my parents unwittingly bought it in a senior citizens complex. The residents loved it when the 2 moms and 8 kids under 10 came to use their 5th floor apartment.
We used to have the other residents threatening us with brooms(and banging continuously on the ceiling with them) and yelling at us for being in "Mr. Smith's" place. Living in Massachusetts, we rented it out 11.5 months of the year to Mr Smith, who was my Father's Oldest Sister's Father-in-Law: or more simply put The Great-Grand-Avitable (maternally)
And while my mother was glad that people actually let you out into traffic (vs doing everything in their power to prevent it - Boston style) she definitely bitched about the speed at which that traffic moved.
That is the limit of my old-people experience in general tho, considering i have no living grandparents. And my Eldest Aunts (76 & 73) live in FLA / NC.
okay i am done with pointless rambling

Jules, I like "The Great Grand Avitable". I'm going to call him that posthumously forever.
