Re: #1. Alabama may be the state for you. I took a paralegal course and learned that the legislature did away with the laws covering all sorts of sexual malfeasance, then recessed (for several months, it was perfectly legal to openly operate a whorehouse in AL, but only the lawyers knew that). When they reconvened, they created new laws but forgot to include bestiality in their list of offences. I'm not sure if they ever fixed that oversight. Let me know how the gorilla thing goes.

Cat, I think there are two theories. One, when there is a parasitic phenomenon that circles the internet, it's been defined as a meme. The other theory, and the one I subscribe to, is that these aren't memes. They're "Me Mes", eg "All about me". So it should be MeMe or something.
