Gravatar I was watching a news clip the other day about that new Gold Rush reality game and I thought to myself, why the hell isn't Avi in on this? He knows something about everything!

A million in gold! You could've shared! hehe ...

I went and looked for a link in case you didn't know what the hell I was talking about, although I'm sure you do.

http://goldrush.aol.com/

Gravatar I'm not on the list.

Maybe, it's finally happened...I'm cool.

Gravatar J, I've never heard of that. I should check it out.

Mist, you're always cool in my book.

Gravatar My husband is exactly what you described as a "Computer Geek". He couldn't code shit - but he can build a frankenstein computer in his sleep and he thinks Linux is the second coming.

As for me?

I'm an ADD geek - I like to know lots and lots about whatever I'm obsessed with at the moment.

And a Marketing Geek. I know what agency came up with "Like A Rock" and I analyze commercials and ads for fun.

Gravatar I'm both a science geek and a music geek.

I'm very good at Name That Tune contests and have so much useless knowledge in my head about music, it's sick.

Gravatar Gaming geek ? try weffriddles, you will be pulling out your hair!

Gravatar I think HaloScan ate my last comment. Here it is again.

<?php if ( $avitable == 'mocking_me_with_#2' && $truth == 'hurts') { echo 'Har-de-har-har, bitch!' } ?>

Gravatar Let's set something straight here... HeroClix, although they use foldout maps in the starters, is NOT a boardgame. It's a Collectible Miniature Game (CMG) and is only one in a line of such games. It is entirely possible to play HeroClix without the map and using the standards of movement that can be found in both MageKnight and MechWarrior to play a game on a 3 dimensional board. And no... I'm not a gaming geek... I already maxed out all my attributes ages ago and I know that no matter what happens... 1d6 rules the world, k?

Gravatar my husband? Programming Geek. Definitely. :D

Gravatar Compu-TRON-0-matic wants to have a word with you.

Gravatar I am an art geek. yea.

Gravatar Wee, I'm almagam too! With a little more popculture and drugs influences, but well, geeky enough for me. And lots of literature. Modern literature. And German literature, but rather forced so as I have to read the crap for school.
I'm relieved to know that I'm a geek, I thought I had missed the point of it when I watched Napoleon Dynamite.

Gravatar Music geek totally.

Gravatar I am with Miss Brit but I am really an ADD/OCD geek... because my complusions can get out of hand.

Ooh and scrapbooking geek...because I have a room dedicated to it in my new room.

Smooches!

Gravatar I meant new house...grrr.

Gravatar I'm not on the list, but i know I'm not cool...Wow, does that mean I'm such a geek that I can't even be a geek right ?
I think i might be a Simpsons geek- is there such a thing ?

Gravatar #1. Check. STFU
#2. Check. STFU
#3. Not anymore
#4. I deny everything and will only speak in presence of MY lawyer. Actually only occasional gaming anymore, but have played many RPGs and occasional buy the newest best-sellers just for some hours.
#5. TV, no thanks. Movies. Way too many. Yes I know poor choice but get over it : Tarantino (especially his scripts), Coen Brothers and David Fincher (especially when working with Pitt). I think I should finally start my YMDB profile.

Can I apply for for #6 now?

Gravatar And if there is such a thing as cocktail geeks, I am definitely one.

Gravatar And if there is such a thing as cocktail geeks, I am definitely one.

Gravatar Forget Peter Jackson.

However, Guillermo del Toro is a different story.

Gravatar I guess I'm definitely too much of a movie/tv geek because I will indeed definitely follow Joss just about anywhere ... I just work he would work more often!

Gravatar know a little bit about a lot of subjects... that's me right there...

I loved this... I'm going to share with some friends!

Gravatar I'm a total math geek.

Also, count me as one of those TV/movie geeks. I totally knew Joss wrote for Roseanne, as well as one of the original scripts for Toy Story

Gravatar Shoot, I don't fit into any of these categories. But I like to call myself a "book geek" because I read at least 5 books a month.

My current book: "I Hate Other People's Kids" by Adrienne Frost.

A true literary masterpiece.

Gravatar Don't forget political geeks. probably sitting up watching the election returns right now and giving thumbs-up or -down in the dark. Morons.

Gravatar "Remembering useless bits of trivia that nobody wants to know" geek here.

Oh yeah, I'm a TV/movie geek as well, to the extent that I can memorize and recite almost all of the characters' lines verbatim.

Gravatar RW - who you callin' a moron??

Gravatar I have, at various points in my life, been every type of geek listed in your post and in the comments.

Does that make me a Proteus-geek or something?

Gravatar Britt, there is no such thing as a marketing geek. You, my dear, are a marketing nerd.

Kelly, music geek! That's one I forgot.

Bpr, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Joe, very nice.

WD, I never would have guessed that you'd be a gamer.

Dawn, what about you? You're more of a dork, eh?

Charred, I don't understand. Nor do I want to!

Melanie, I don't think there's any such thing.

Skywalker, you've got plenty of geek, but more geek chic.

RB, there's two for music geek. I should add that next time.

Kris, I don't know if medical conditions can qualify you for geekiness.

Paticus, c'mon. You have to be a geek of some type.

Franky, you're definitely the amalgam geek.

Jordie, Guillermo del Toro has one good movie (Hellboy) under his belt. He just isn't worth following around.

Keith, so will I. I wasn't mocking it. Joss is a god.

Ricci, feel free. Thanks.

Steph, math geek? Nope. Try nerd!

Mistress, you're not allowed to be a geek - you're a hot sex fiend.

RW, geeks and politics don't mix.

Talamasca, yeah, I think that qualifies you as TV/Movie geek.

PTB, the fact that you called yourself a Proteus geek speaks volumes by itself. You are truly a geek among geeks!

Gravatar As my myspace page can confirm, I am a beautiful geek.

Gravatar I thought I was a geek, but after examining the list, I realized that I'm just a simple loser. I don't really specialize in anything, but I stay at home a lot. I think to be a geek you kinda have to be passionate about something and not just antisocial.

I guess that's why I go to church (avi church). For enlightenment.

Gravatar I'm an authentic geek - I bite the heads off live animals... err... no. Sorry. Meds time.

I thought you were confessing to being an anagram geek. Those guys are really annoying...

Can I be a Jethro Tull geek?

(and I'm totally a political Geek. C'Mon RW: you and me, mano a mano. Let's get this party started...)

Gravatar Poppy, is that right?

Cat, passion is important, but for things that most people don't care about. Passion for acting makes you a super-hot actress.

Kal, I should have included real geeks in there - circus geeks are the OG!
