It isn't that you want to be like Warren Ellis, but you harbor a secret desire to be one of his characters - as a part of his stories. His pointing readers your way isn't an act of magnanimity as much as the occurrance of it is displaying your desire to have sex with one of his female superheroines. The Beth-husband-knee-dog part of the dream is a bit more complex. It either means you have a talent for supporting your friends or the dream was a reaction to some recent food poisoning at Denny's no matter how many times RW has told you to take a little more care about where and what you are eating. The ass-crack thing is obviously your conscience telling you that your wardrobe is despicable and it is time to clean up. OR it is a metaphor for God. I can't decide which.
