I love sleep. Espeically when I dream. Especially if it is a sex dream.

I hate anything that I can't multitask. I can't multitask when sleeping, reading or generally when I'm in the shower.

I kinda feel the same way as you do, but I know the truth.
If I didn't sleep I wouldn't accomplish anything more than I already do...I'd just goof off on the internet for even MORE hours every day.

I would only hang around just like I do when I don't sleep. Seems as if for me it's my most productive time.

I was GOING to say:
"I've been on a kick lately about trying to figure out how to operate on less sleep because I could be so much MORE productive with more hours in the day."
But now I'm just stuck on you saying
"I could go work out."
ROTFLMAO - oh man, that's a knee slapper, ROTFLMAO some more...

Sometimes, I can go for nights without sleep. At first, I get a lot done. Then the hallucinations kick in and I'm less effective and more irrational. Usually, this ends in me almost falling asleep driving and having an emotional outburst in public. Then I sleep for days.

The odd thing is that you are as delusional now as I would expect someone who had not slept in weeks to be.

Believe me, when you don't sleep all you want to do is sleep and you think, "if I could only get 3 hours of sleep, I'd be more productive and have the energy to streak bare ass naked through Avi's front yard scaring away all the chipmunks and making his facial hair fall out from fright". At least that's what I think when I don't sleep.

Lynda, nah, dreams aren't for me.
Mistress Yoda, exactly!
Dawn, well I think I'd accomplish greatness, so there.
Skywalker, I'm too old to just hang around now.
Tug, you can have mine.
Britt, well, I meant that I will watch work out videos with women in leotards and think dirty thoughts.
BPR, sleep is clearly necessary, but I'd rather learn how to go without.
Mist, yeah I've had hallucinations with little sleep, too.
Amy, moi? I'm not delusional!
Maritza, we don't have chipmunks. Only squirrels. And that sounds more painless than shaving!

I feel the same way you do. Nighttime is the best time to get shit done too. The kids are in bed, nobody is knocking on my door or ringing my phone. I hate the fact that I have to sleep.

I'm with you. There just aren't enough hours in the day to consume chocolate, coffee, and ice cream, or to write the next great american novel. Sleeping also causes wrinkles. Bah! Sleep sucks ass.

I think your recent works of art, which you've so graciously shared with us, are enough to earn you a statue!
Sleep is an expendable commodity. Too bad we're born like crack babies, only with a physical addiction to sleep instead. I definitely agree with what you said (minus the polygamy and the streaking), but sometimes I also think sleeping nonstop for a week would make an awesome vacation. I'd keep a bottle of sleeping pills and a drink by my bed, and whenever I woke up every 8 hours or so, I'd take a pill, go back to sleep, and repeat until it was time to get with the program again...

If I didn't sleep I would most likely start solving all the worlds problems like child hunger and war in the middle east.
Realistically, I can't even teach a dog to count.
I may have overshot my goals a little.

I now have a mental image of you dressed a la Jane Fonda circa 1982, working out to Let's Get Physical by Olivia Newton John.
It's not pretty.

Tori, oh, I have a good relationship with it. I just fucking hate it.
Virginia, you can hook me up with some good non-sleeping stuff, right?
Jared, I guess you should start drinking Jim Beam every night, then. Give me a call next week.
Evil Genius, I wonder if anyone's written the great Lithuanian novel yet. Because I'm willing to give that a try.
Ben, some of us don't want to avoid that stuff. I want to do it. I need a fuckin' statue in my honor.
Girl, Dislocated, that's a good plan. Maybe if I could sleep one week a year straight through I could get buy with no sleep for the rest of the year.
Ryan, child hunger and the war in the Middle East don't affect me personally, so I don't care about them. I'd much rather teach my dog to count, or make a pillow from my back hair.
Poppy, didn't he sleep?
Tracy, well, I work out in the nude, so it's even worse than you could possibly imagine.
Heather, deal!

I listen to DVD commentaries while on the computer, cleaning, eating or doing other things... most of them aren't that good and you don't actually need to sit and watch them to know what they're talking about because you've probably already seen the movie. Just listen to their little anecdotes while you do other things. My two cents : )

Screw that! I LOVE sleep, the Great Escape!
However, I used to have a theory when I had jobs I didn't like so much;
Why couldn't we COMBINE working and sleeping and get it all done in the SAME 8 hours?
I never figured out how to make it work, but actually, some people DO have jobs where they can sleep. Brilliant!

Mr. Fab, I lift enough weight just getting up from bed and walking to the bathroom.
Tracy, want one?
Cat, that's a good point.
Annie, well, I would rather work all the time. I'm one of those weird people who loves working.
