Yes, you're old. What do you care if U2 is considered classic? You'll never be older than they are until they're dead.

I wasn't sure whether to be offended or flattered recently when someone aksed me how old I was, and I answered 36, and they replied, "Oh, you're not that old."
Does that mean I look far worse than 36 ?
Or does it mean that 36 is stil young and vibrant ?
It means I look far worse than 36, doesn't it ? Damnit!!
Last night's Veronica was great !! I think I decided I "knew" what happened three or four different times. And I was right, then wrong, then right again. It was a blast.
Do you think the actor who played Tim will be on next season in another disguise ?

They've been playing U2 on the classic station here since 1997 or so. I think it has more to do with their broad appeal. When they start playing Metallica or Anthrax on there, let me know. I'll be shooting myself.

Motley Crue, Guns and Roses and Poison are all considered classic rock too. When did this happen? Who OK'd that? Oh well, pass the Geritol, Avi.

Alll the early 80's music is now on our "classic rock" stations here. WTF? And really, should there be music played on a classics station that is still being made by said band? I don't think so. I think you need to have broken up, died or disappeared in order to get play time.
*shakes head and mutters*

I thought Veronica's second arc finale was good... but it kind of paled in comparison to the previous conclusions. Was there anybody who DIDN'T figure out who the killer was? Though, when you think about WHY Dean O'Dell was actually killed, this has to be one of the more disturbing killings ever.

As soon as they started calling it the Classic Rock staion and I was all, "Hey, they still play the same stuff....oh!" I said fuck it, and started listening to Alternative Rock. You're only as old as you feel. And what you listen to.

Mistress Yoda, ooooh. Fuck you, then!
Poppy, that is a good point.
Paticus, if VM gets another season, I think that actor should definitely be in it, but this time as a woman.
NYCWD, if I heard Metallica, I would now be blogging from beyond the grave.
Dawn, I would pass the Geritol but I can't see. Where are my spectacles?
Mist, clearly. And too hot.
TMP, I hate when I feel someone else's age.
Mr. Fab, yes. Even men your age would enjoy VM. Maybe even more so, from a strictly voyeuristic standpoint.
Dramedy Girl, I agree. Classics should be dead. Except for the Rolling Stones. They'll never die.
Dave, good point.
Melanie, that's what I plan on doing. Now pardon me as I go hang around outside the high school and try to pick up chicks.
Annie, I wanted to hear some good old classic rock, but I guess that must be on the oldies station now.
Tracy, were you buying Metamucil?
Britt, wow. That's what you get for living in Iowa.

Lynda, for some reason, seeing movies called "classics" doesn't bother me as much as a band that's still very alive and well.

VM rocked it last night! I totally agree with Dave as well - what a completely fucked up reason for Dean O'Dell to have died! I called Tim as the killer as soon as he broke into M.I. though.
Cause, I am that good.

I remember the shock of realizing "oldies" were what I grew up with. Have you started recognizing clothes being "recycled" that are eerily familiar to the fashions you wore? (well, the jeans & shirts)
What's really weird is I'm seeing a repeat of clothes my KIDS wore! That means I'm DOUBLE old.

Steph, yeah, I figured it was him from the start of the episode. Because the professor and the dean's wife were too obvious.
RW, ooh, that will kill me. I still have about five years until that happens.
Jordie, I don't know what classic rock station you're listening to, but they don't play Sugar Ray on it. It's all AC/DC, Stones, and now U2.
EG, yup. You've got both feet in your grave now.

I'm just glad they're playing all that music again! Because through the grunge years and post-grunge, you couldn't find any of those great 80s songs anywhere! Now it's old skool, or classic. As long as they play it, call it whatever you want!
