you are about the first person I've heard of who sings the praises of stockinette. wow. most people get bored. I do agree with you that it's good for knit nights...you can talk to folks and knit.

Wanda, it's so good to come back and the first thing I see is an object of great beauty! I tried to resist shawls for the longest; the old lady factor. But, working in a yarn store and hearing the word shawl all day long, I gave in.

Wow. There are so many styles and and their versatility can't be beat. Then I see yours. Gee Wanda, I only have two hands!

What a beautiful shawl! Gorgeous colours and the edging looks very nice. I like the patterns you can use in fingering weight as well. Maybe I should practice another one before starting the 'real' lace? I understand so well how you love to wear this scarf everyday. I am not a scarf person at all but couldn't put mine down for days and days. Maybe I'm a shawl/scarf person now?
