There is certainly a disctinction here that may be lost. Karzai is not pointing the longer finger of blame "for killing our children" at US_Nato but rather at terrorists that the US_Nato is fighting and in the collateral - children die.

Not sure what you're trying to say. I didn't write anything here except for "via the AP." I just copied and pasted the beginning of the article. I also bolded the quote you mentioned.
His point is it doesn't matter who is doing the bombing. The children are dying.
