I guess I don't understand your last sentence. Out here in the wild west, people are packing all over. I haven't let that stop me from doing anything or going anywhere. I've learned that many people in this country believe that the Second Amendment is the most important part of the Constitution, and I've learned to live with it.

I guess I'm going to have to figure it out as well.
I haven't assumed, even walking through tough neighborhoods in NYC, that everyone was carrying except me.
Now, I see, I am going to have to make some sort of change.

I hear ya, it's definitely a wild west thing. It took a long time for me to get used to.

Yeah, the attitude in the west is very different on this subject. I remember years ago, working with a British actor back in NY who would normally never have even thought about carrying a weapon -- but who described how natural it felt to have a .357 magnum strapped to his belt when he was visiting his in-laws in Alaska. I wouldn't carry a gun, but it is an absolute political deal-breaker for many people here in CO. No Democrat could win here without being pro-gun.

Not only that, I've had potential clients ask me point blank how I felt about the Second Amendment before they would agree to hire me. It's a different world out here.

Mistake? moi?
I am reading descriptions of the new law that say that I can continue to visit Rockaway Beach.
That the National Park gun law is supposed to defer to the state law on the subject.
Hope so.
In the meantime, I am still looking for the exact language of the statute.

Max --
Potential clients have asked you about this? I wouldn't think they would care...but obviously, I'm wrong about that! Fascinating...

There are Jewish clients who only want a Jewish attorney, black clients who only want a black attorney, gay clients who only want a gay attorney, and gun rights advocates who want their attorney to be pro Second Amendment. It's incredible. Whatever happened to just being a good attorney?

I can understand how a client would want an attorney who would believe in the same things he does....
B, I think that you still have to get a consealed hand gun license to carry a gun on your person, national park or not. You might check that out.
