In other animal crime news, a pigeon was picked up for smuggling after it was found to be dealing heroin.
Wardens at a maximum security jail in Bosnia knew something was aloof after inmates seemed “visibly intoxicated” after the pigeon was spotted on a window ledge. Those inmates later tested positive for heroin, including the bird’s owner.
The pigeon was believed to have come from Tuzla, a town 40 miles away from the jail. It will be imprisoned until jail officials figure out a punishment.
"We do not know what to do with the pigeon," Deputy Warden Josip Pojavnik told Ananova. "But for the time being it will remain behind bars."

ROME: Nearly 1,000 children were trafficked and forced into prostitution or labour in Italy between 2000 and 2007, the Italian branch of the charity Save the Children has said in a report.
Of 54,559 known “victims of human trafficking who received help and protection in Italy from 2000 to 2007 ... 938 were minors,” the report said, citing Italy’s equal opportunity ministry.
The report said the figure “is surely lower than the reality”, adding that many victims were “without protection, aid or assistance”.
Most of those forced into prostitution came from eastern Europe and Nigeria, the report said, adding that Nigerian girls had to pay between 30,000 and 50,000 euros ($44,000-$74,000) for their freedom.
Many children are forced to beg or do hard work for scant pay, in particular on farms.
“Children and adolescents, generally Romanian but also Moldavian and north African, including some aged under 14 and who therefore cannot be prosecuted, are brought to Italy to commit robberies,” Save the Children said.

Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) today announced that Morgan Stanley Saudi Arabia (MSSA) has become the first investment bank to enter into a Swap Agreement with a non-resident foreign investor for a single stock, as authorised by Saudi Arabia’s Capital Markets Authority (CMA).
The announcement comes shortly after the CMA approved a resolution to allow Authorised Persons, such as MSSA, to enter into Swap Agreements with non-resident foreign investors for individual stocks. While MSSA retains legal ownership of the shares, the economic benefits of the Saudi companies’ shares are transferred to the investor.
Commenting on the transaction, Dr Fahad Almubarak, Chairman of MSSA, said, “This transaction marks an historic milestone for Saudi Arabia, as it is the first time foreign investors are able to have access to companies listed on the Tadawul. Beijing (AsiaNews/Agencies) –Yizhou authorities (Guangxi) are in high alert in the wake of explosions at a chemical plant that have released poisonous gases which risk polluting the nearby river Longjiang. The blast took place yesterday morning but the plant burned for a full six hours. So far 18 people have died and a further 60 injured have been hospitalised. Authorities have confirmed that yesterday evening toxic gases were still pouring from the plant and that the river is now polluted.
At least 11 thousand people within a 3 km radius of the accident have been evacuated for fear of deadly poisoning. The local government has warned the local population against drinking water from the river. Fish farms have been moved from the vicinity of polluted waters.
The Guangxi Guangwei Chemical Company plant is located in an industrial area on the outskirts of Yizhou city and mainly produces polyvinyl acetate - used in adhesives - calcium carbide and vinyl acetate monomer, which is used in paints, adhesives and coatings.
The explosion produced sulfurated hydrogen and carbon monoxide. At least 100 chemical experts are on the ground to verify the reasons behind the explosions and its possible consequences.

The hacker made more than 400 calls on a FEMA voice-mail system in Emmitsburg, Md., on Aug. 16 and 17. FEMA said it appears that a "hole" was left open by the contractor when the voice-mail system was being upgraded. A FEMA spokesman said the gap in the system has since been closed.
"We are investigating it," FBI spokesman Jason Pack said Tuesday. "We are working with FEMA to get to the bottom of it."
One security expert called this type of hacking low-tech and "old school" — something that was popular 10 to 15 years ago.

So, I keep close inner watch as to what the Holy Spirit would have me do moment by moment, whether or not I can see that any of it will have anything at all to do with the troubles, small as those troubles may be. I wonder if that is similar to what happens when Bush is present with those other leaders.
Also, hand in hand with that (not meaning to pun, here ), is my long-held firm knowledge of a leader's need to go forward only after prayer & fasting, coupled with his requesting of his land's people to pray and fast with him.
