What's an MDB2 error?
Looks like the hamsters went on an unannounced strike.
MDB2 is a connection timed out error I believe. I didn't notice anything weird while on, went to check new comments and started getting it. Anyone see anything that looked weird?

Folks over at Powerline are disappointed with the pick. They maintain that she's too inexperienced. I know nothing about, but some LGF posters really like her.

National Review Online has genrally favorable things to say about her, and they were pushing for Romney. Lot's of background on her that I didn't know - suchas she pushed to kill the Bridge to Nowhere and broke her hand while workng as a commercial fisherman. From what I've read over there, she is a tough cookie.

Frog march, I agree completely. at least she has a record to run on. She's not my first, but she is better than many alternatives (I prefer Romney).
Well, this will be interesting. I like what I've heard about her so far. This really shakes things up so much more than his a more conventional choice like Pawlenty or Romney.
McCain beating the inexperienced theme is over. Lots of other issues McCain can go after, Obama presented them on a silver platter last night.
I like Romney - but then it would have been the "two white guys" ticket. Of course the DNC media will do whatever they can to trash Palin - but she's a Washington outsider with a cool story.

I disagree, Experience is more important at the top of the ticket than as the VP nomination. One can argue tha Governor Palin still has more executive experience than Obama or Biden.

How can the Dems complain about inexperience at the bottom of the Rep ticket when the inexperience is at the top of theirs. I would guess this is an argument they cannot make. I'm beginning to really like this choice.

Frogmarch, I've been reading up on her. She seems ok and has her own maverick reputation which makes her a nice match with McCain. I'm not sure what electoral advantage she bring to the ticket but she seems ok to me.

Ferraro on Fox talking about PUMA! Says she has heard from many of them who will not vote for Obama because of their resentment over the way they think Hillary was treated. She thinks some of them may well vote for McCain.
