you know what? i encountered the same problem too. but for my case the taxi driver went 1 step further: he took me to a police station!!!!!! he wanted to report me for not paying him. how can i pay him for such idiotic services??!! i threw the money on the floor and walked off. and yeah, all this happenedn INSIDE the police station compound. luckily it was years ago and during that time i actually found it kinda fun haha ^_^

haha craziest taxi driver story i've heard of. thank god you guys are ok. taxi drivers like this give other taxi drivers a bad name.

me and a few friends were conned once also and we paid what he asked. should have just walked away but we didn't want any trouble. better be safe than sorry.
