Screaming Lord Such is dead Luke but the Monster Raving Loonies still carry on.
The photo's are really lovely, the girl sitting on top of the mountain must have felt she was on top of the world. You're looking really well Luke, take care, Mum xx

Gravatar Hey Luke, about your last post on Photoshop; the pixelation probably has to do with the quality settings when you save the resized file, so bump it up to level 9 or 10 when you use "save as...".

Also, PS uses different color settings which might not match up with your monitor, so if you go to Edit -> Color settings and beside RGB choose your monitor's RGB, the colors should be correct. Hope this makes sense to you.

Gravatar I had a feeling he'd died. But the monster raving loonies are surely nothing without him.

Thanks Hugh. I've actually sorted the problem now, I think. I played around with the colour settings a bit and they started looking normal again.

Gravatar Really like "a descender". As they say in England, cracking photo!

Gravatar Are you still in Japan end of August start of September Luke? I'm planning a 2-week Tohoku mountain trip and if you're still around, you'd be the man to take me up Iwaki. Also looking at Chokai-san, Dewa-sanzan (really want to climb Gassan) and Hakkoda, and a few more if time allows.

Gravatar If I'm still here I'd be glad to show you around. I haven't found a job yet though so I'm not sure. If I do stay around it'll be advertised on this webpage. Fingers crossed. Iwaki and Hakkoda are a couple of fairly interesting climbs though. You should have a ball.

Gravatar Cheers. If you get a job you like and you're still around, I'll let you know closer to the time when I'll be passing through.
