Luke, I'd forget the ibook and stick with Yuko if I were you. Anyway, if you really feel like spending the rest of your life with a lap-top computer, the ibook isn't a bad little bunny. I don't notice the differences, but I'm not really a computer connoisseur. After using Windows for so long you'd probably be ripping your hair out though. Lots of people say they are girls computers too, but I'd disagree

nice to be able to see your blog again at school I'm a bit sick of the RSS feeds since it blocks some of your photos and sometimes messes up the text.

btw, the ibook is only girly to those that can't comprehend a life without a weekly security patch and constant threat of viruses. Autumn is buying one when we get back to the states and I will follow with an Imac desktop soon after.

I think so long as you persevere with the OS, Jacob, you'll be alright after a while. For someone like you who takes a special interest in computers I imagine the switch will give you no end of opportunity for exploration and investigation. Good luck with life in Arizona by the way. How far from the Grand Canyon will you be living?

Yeah I'm sure I'll like the macs a lot. I'm going to keep my PC laptop though, I like it a lot. we'll be living in Tucson which is about 360 miles from the Grand Canyon, but that's definitely a distance I'm willing to go to hike around in there. I'm sure I'll be posting photos of Arizona soon after we arrive.

I'll look forward to seeing those shots Jacob, and 360 miles is nothing, but that's coming from an Englishman who's never been to Scotland because it's always seemed too far to go. I'll probably see you this saturday night at the charity dinner anyway.
