Nice. So did you make it up the mountain 50 times like you were aiming for?

Nice pictures Luke. I wish it would snow here.

Gravatar When I look back on all my climbs I can only say yes, a very confident yes considering how I know and feel about that place. Once I climbed it three days in a row. It has been more of a sport to me over the years so I lost count with the routine. A wonderful sport though, and one that offered mind results as well as physical.

Gez, it will never snow in England like it snows here and you should appreciate that fact because it really gets cold and miserable here in the winter. I love it with a car to get me to the hills for skiing but without one it's a nightmare. It's like rain that stays for weeks after it hits. It looks beautiful but it's hard work.

Gravatar I should also say that in a town like this snow is great because it covers up rotten or non-existent architecture. After 8 or 9 months of looking at some of the local structures it really sets your mind at rest. People really should be shot for what they've built round here. Or made to listen to Andy Vinter's singing. One of the two punishments.

Gravatar Hi Luke.
So nice pics! snow is beautiful.
I want to see that.but very far.
FUKUOKA is hot......

Gravatar Great pictures Luke. I thing it's time I shared some of Frank Zappa's advice with you. I've always found it helpful.

"Watch out where the huskies go, and don't you eat that yellow snow".

Gravatar That was a favourite of mine a couple of years back Nick. Great song.
