Gravatar I guess they just don't make 'em like they used to. The previous owners of our house left behind a bag of old wooden clothespins. Not one to throw out useful things, I kept them. For ten years they have been hanging clothes, making tents, and serving as refrigerator magnet clips (just glue a magnet on the back). Only a couple of them have broken in all that time.


Gravatar If you want to (temporarily) salvage a few clothespins...if the springs are still in, I usually just lift the arm of the spring and slip the clothespin halves back together. It annoys me to lose perfectly 'good' clothespins to separation like that!
