It is true -- to get anywhere in any profession, you've gotta play the game -- Obama has to be a politician. But that doesn't mean he can't inspire you or be the next great president. And I still think we'd be better off with him than if we let that economically-republican Hillary into office.
You're right, I agree about him being better than Hillary. I wasn't trying to dismiss his efforts or his effect more so than I was pointing out my own naïveté and romanticism of his entire campaign.
