Hey Bama ... You and I are so alike in our introspective ways. I totally go through the same thought process as I see you doing! please don't be too hard on yourself, though. This is such a huge transitional time, and it's not easy!
All I can think is if you could join a community group? Maybe even a church? I think they would be really welcoming to a new family in town. And they might have babysitters or some kind of daycare, too! hee hee... 
Hey Bess! First off I didn't know that you had started using your blog site again! Yea! Secondly, I think that every couple goes through that slump esp in the military. It's hard to get into a normal life again after you've been uprooted. Even though something might not sound fun you might end up having a ball wih it... I know from experience Ben has suggested things that I was thinking this is going to be horrible but it turned out great! I hope that you know you are completely normal & having a child changes so much!!! Call if you need to vent

I don't have any words of wisdom to impart, but I'm sending you a big hug and letting you know that you're not alone; you have lots of friends in the blogosphere, and geographay matters not to us!
I'm sure that things will get better as you get more used to the new surroundings. Change always takes a while to adjust to! In the meantime, keep posting; we're here!
